April 17,2015 marked the 3rd edition of the GFC Fight Series. It was a night to remember as 4 of the world's top heavyweight kickboxers showed their world class striking skills for 1 Million UAE Dirhams!
Semi finals 1 saw action between Zabit Samedov & Steve McKinnon of Australia with Samedov winning convincingly by Unanimous Decision.
Semi finals 2 was a bout between German - Congolese Danyo Ilunga versus Persian Jafar Ahmadi. Ilunga won vi TKO and moves on to the finals to face Samedov.
FInals : It was evident 3 vicious rounds of non stop blows at each other wasn't enough as it went to a draw and the Championship Round went for an extra 4th round. Both fighters gave everything on their arsenal with fans dazzled and amazed in a night filled with " A fight to remember ".
Ultimately , Samedov won by points and was declared the 3rd Champion of the GFC Fight Series and gets an automatic slot for the Grand Prix very soon plus the 1 Million Dirham purse !
